Ubuntu is an African word and ubuntu is Africa themed Linux
so what is so important in Africa? beside being poor and potential for development Africa people use little of our earth resources. As seen on image emissions from Africa are low. Have met a men who fly a lot over continents and when flying over Africa at night you just don't see much lights as in other countries.
Many people in developed world today think that development means luxury. That rich mean yacht. Little rich people make use of their money to help rebuild planet. So what is truly developed person? sure one that has low impact living as seen daily in Africa and ubuntu.

human labor games comparison (gwap, google image labeler)
all games described use human labour to produce better web for example better results when looking for images
general
Google image labeler: fast, efficient, simple, can track image source
gwap:slow, beautiful, give awards (probably small presents like books), require login
description
google image labeler
brilliant game to learn language, see new images and help google image search
gwap games:
ESP game like google image labeler
Verbosity seem to be perfect for high level English speakers
Tag a tune you hear music and then tag, you have agreed wth your companion if listening to same tune, extra game where you look for most different tune
Squigl maybe good match if you have pen tablet instead of mouse - you draw lines around objects
Matchin you select pic that seems better to you - mostly clicking
Pop Video watch music video from youtube instead, when there is a talk or lyrics just look not worth writing it all down
-----
tip
use google image labelr with greasemonkey installed and darken script. search: darken lifehacker
conclusion
google imagel labeler may be better and seems like game of the century
but anyway when waitin to load you can play gwap

female friend's skepticims about popular internet communication tools
Q:myspace, facebook? (social networks)
A:I had it, but wasn't very active and disabled it, but eventualy i would return soon.
Comment:problem is that disabling means deletion of all your internet data you send
A:..accept this accept that, new comments and than replay this message and it takes you 2 hours a day and i really don't have time for that
Comment: facebook has plenty of applications that requre accept that is not very informational.. like "accept game?"
Q:would you try blog?
A:ow yeah to show my emotions on computer and share my psichopatic intentions with strangers, no thanks
Comment:she didn't know about advantages of blogs

facebook is selling (you and your) user database
(but no worry it was sold before by tech guys)
websites security holes are well known and they are getting known for bad user care as well as they sell user networks. Buyer is planning to use databases as an alternative to questionnaires that are commonly used to know people better.
Informed seller and not informed costumer are as we may say: a perfect match.
Our blog recommends networking on known and tested ways. Example: blogs, forums, etc..
privacy issues might be also problematic as multiple users write their message on private boards that may have smaller audience.
Private world = small world?
private world is in danger indeed :-) secrets are dangerious things
nanotechnlogoy is emerging and it is possible that one day small robots will be working in your brain. You may will not be able to erase your memories but robots
are in possition to read your memories in future. So keep bad tougths out.

modern hardware review
ok..
you have a laptop
laptop is to move around and you can have it for everything, well depends on its performance .. you cant have great lan party or watch too big resolution movie
you have laptops from 11'' to 17'' that make a big difference
for quick you have phone.. if you are out and so
if you are playing games and movie it's better normal pc.. you take 19'' and it's cool.. you work with documents and it rules to have widescreen so you can use two documents and move from one to another

Story of success: Japan, Robots
Japan, the worlds second largest economy can be easily presented as first when talking about technology. Japan lacks natural resources (no oil-some fish) but develops some high tech that in U.s can't be matched. However possible earthquake is still danger for advanced high tech from Tokyo. In Europe Japan culture can be seen in anime (cartoons), video games, some gadgets (Casio) even cars (Toyota)
As seen on graph high density of robots is also found in Singapore and south Korea.
