Watching movie&browsing simultaniously on pivot monitor

It's hard to watch movie and browse net on single monitor at same time with transparency. Web browsers don't like transparency much and videos even more..

Rotated monitor (normal 17' lcd will do the job) and "always on top" function used on DVD movie

tested monitor resolution:1280x1024 rotated with xrandr (1024x1280) (no loss for DVD quality video)
