How to get bigger thumbnails for Image viewing?

Thumbnails are useful for quickly viewing big collection of images. The bigger they are more detail is visible. Most image-viewing software won't allow bigger thumbnails than 256x256...


How to get bigger thumbnails?

1.Old pyhthon must be present before install:sudo apt-get install python-wxgtk2.6
(older python presence is required)

2.Cornice cross-platform program allows to view big thumbnails.

 Thumb size 393x393 was acceped to view and was fast enough

Depending on your resolution you can set even bigger thumbnails. Select lowest interpolations for smoother scrolling.
