Backup alternative: Make list of all files

Probably you don't have enough disk space to make backup of all your files.. But you can actualy save (some) data from your 1 Tb drive to small 2 Mb file. How?


Make hard drive catalog. Catalog all your drives and in worst case (destruction,virus,loss, got drunken at home and formated drive,..) your mp3, movies, etc collection will be "saved"!

When arrived with my external hard drive to my frend. She wanted stuff from me but didn't want to delete her files that were occuping free disk space. So she made just small txt files containing names of deleted movies before deleting them.

Cdcat program would be cool to catallog files:
