Don't you like your mail address connected with msn messenger?
Solutions:
-make alternative mail accout with microsoft ID and use pidgin to use 2 msn accounts simulataniously
software like pidgin allows user to use multiple account simultaniously
Many contacts needs to be added again, some can be informed with note in old account title..
-switch to skype, google talk (any gmail user have this) or use facebook chat
-wait
if you don't like you msn mail account now, maybe you will like it in few years.
