P2p (file sharing comunity) is big network of peoples brains, if you want it that way. Big loads of informations are presumed inside.Good files are promoted, bad files are deleted.
Many reviews happen on file-exchange scene, translator of subtitles, and screenshots, tests...
This huge cloud actualy has great power (CPU, in disk space and in brain processing)
If you upload well your files are reached by many people that make new file collections that get better and better over time.
What is particulary good about some p2p applications that you don't get peace of information but rather a stream of information (same as if you would listen to radio - there are many pirate radios)
Streams of informations online are pretty difficult to reach. For example this blog is a stream but todays software hardly allow user to use it as stream of information that that is automaticaly and always reaching user.
