Internet flows Analysis

Analysis of internet Flows

internet lovers (and bandwidth eaters) in Europe are more "day creatures" than northamerica

hole around 7 pm in north America may be tv news? tv shows?

wow(massive fantasy game) jumps right after parents go watching tv show? seems like night is popular play time here

steam (mostly online fps games)seems shooting is popular from 2pm-2am (any time normal), but there is still decent numbers of players who play it anytime

video

i guess video is played at work, so as workers begin to wake up after morning coffee slowly began checking you-tube videos they may get via mail

similar fall like seen in wow after, gets late and need to go to bed for the next day work/school

IM

these are mostly used by young population

start messaging at school library or computer lab in middle morning, after 12pm falls (pupils get out and play in park) but are strictly at home PC at 17pm when parents return and early at bed when night messaging(night buddy's) takes over. at 5am no one is online on msn.

isn't that the same graph as seen before? 9-12pm is internet rush hour?

forecast? Internet traffic growing! video takes bits even in p2p sector.. you know producing hd move.. is death for isp's
as web data slowly rises, wonder how much is it there to more websites or more heavy websites? probably there is demand for web 2.0 vector design (as this website currently have-look for star) as mobile phones bitrate charges are high and bandwidth slow

usage example:
internet traffic doubles in 3 years.. if you have 1 Mbit today and wireless router 54Mbit; in 6 cycles(64 Mbit) (6x3=less than 18 years) you will need 64 Mbit router (if your bandwith changes gradualy as seen on internet traffic)
if you have 2 Mbit today - you have 5 cycles time (to reach 64 Mbits demand)
you are buying new wifi router that will probably last more than 15 years? so buy faster 802.11n technlogy for better speed.
